Fit n' Fun

Escape the heat and join us for a little bit of fitness and a WHOLE LOT OF FUN! We will do FUNctional Fitness exercises for 45 minutes and play in the pool for another 45 minutes. Siblings are welcome! 

Register for each date separately!

Classes are held at Chesterfield Athletic Club from 6:30-8:00pm.

Dates are 6/14, 6/28, 7/12, 7/26, 8/9 & 8/23.

Please note that we must have a minimum of FIVE (5) DASA athletes registered in order to hold this program. Notification of specific weekly program confirmation or cancellation will be sent with sufficient notice.

Wacky Water-Cuivre River

DASA Wacky Water Day at Cuivre River State Park in Troy, MO!

Kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and canoes will be available for use! 
Fishing is available, but please bring your own equipment!
Archery targets will be set up to try your hand at hitting that bulls-eye!

Lunch will be served at noon! 

We will be camping overnight after the event at the Cuivre River Campsites. Food is on your own! Limited tents are available with prior notice!

Learn to golf and practice your skills. Adapted golf carts available, on a limited basis.

Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm
Lessons will be held at various golf courses.Our typical course is the Family Golf Plex off of Highway K, but an email will be sent each week to confirm location!

Adaptive Yoga

EVERYONE can practice yoga!! We offer classes lying on the ground, seated on the floor, seated in a chair or wheelchair, kneeling or standing. We begin by discovering what you can do and then we build a FUN yoga practice from there. Building a stronger core, back and arms are important for everyone, but for someone with physical challenges, it helps them become more independent. The breathing techniques incorporated throughout the class teach children and adults how to become more mindful and how to use their breath to relax when they are upset, angry or afraid. This mindfulness is important in helping them notice changes in their bodies so that they can be a strong advocate for themselves.

When: Thursdays 7:00-8:00pm
Where: Emerge Fitness Training (920 Hemsath Rd #100, St Charles, MO 63303).

*A $5 processing fee will deducted from all credit card refunds.
