GDSP Volunteers

Welcome New & Returning Volunteers!

We're excited to be working alongside you for another fantastic season with the Gateway Disabled Ski Program.  Please take a moment to review the information provided below before beginning the registration process.

New to the Program?

DASA GDSP VolunteersVolunteers are essential to the success of athletes participating with the Gateway Disabled Ski Program.  They assist and lead lessons, help with fittings and modifications, coach racers, and fulfill many other needs of our athletes and the program.   Our program provides a rewarding opportunity to bring the fun and excitement of alpine skiing and snowboarding into the lives of athletes, regardless of ages and ability levels, while also giving volunteers a unique opportunity to enhance personal skiing and boarding skills.

We are always looking for new potential members to join our team.  Need to fulfill community service hours?  Volunteering with us can satisfy anywhere from 16-40 hours!  Although prior skiing/snowboarding experience is preferred, there are several opportunities to contribute off the hill, too - and the chance to learn how to ski yourself!  If you have any questions, please contact

Volunteer Orientation

All volunteers are required to complete the necessary orientation and training prior to participating within the Gateway Disabled Ski Program.  There will be two opportunities to complete the Dry-land portion, as well as three opportunities to complete the On-hill portion.  See scheduled dates below:
