5th grade student, Alex, from Boone Trail Elementary had decided this year for his birthday, instead of receiving gifts he would raise money for DASA.  Alex started this tradition when he was six years old and each year has made contributions to organizations that help kids.  Alex's goal was to raise over $1,000 - and he presented a check for $3,441.00!!  Way to go Alex!!
