 All potential DASA athletes that are interested in becoming part of the DASA     family, MUST complete the following application prior to participating at     DASA 
(by   clicking the "new athlete form" button). After completing the   form, DASA staff   will reach out to you to provide you with more   information.

DASA Athlete Qualification

DASA recruits cognitively age-appropriate individuals 5 years of age and older living with permanent physical, visual, and hearing disabilities who have difficulty participating in sports with their non-disabled peers.

DASA Athletes' Disabilities vary include:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Spina Bifida
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Amputation
  • Deaf, or Hard of Hearing
  • Visual Impairment

DASA's Adaptive Training

DASA's Adaptive Training Program offers a personalized fitness training program for people with physical disabilities. It provides an opportunity to continue physical activity after therapy, to become active and physically fit, and to enhance strength and performance for a sport.

DASA's Adaptive Snow Ski Program

Gateway Disabled Ski Program

We are looking for skiers and snowboarders to help instruct within our adaptive alpine skiing and snowboarding program.  Prior experience with either snow sport is preferred, but there are other opportunities for inexperienced volunteers, too!  Partial reimbursement towards a Hidden Valley DASA Pass is rewarded to volunteers with attendance of 80% or more.
