How DASA collects, uses, and protects information gathered through our website.
The Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides adaptive sports and fitness programs for people with physical disabilities in the St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri areas. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, dasasports.org, and how we use it. Questions about this policy can go to dasa@dasasports.org, (636) 477-0716, or DASA, 1600 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, Ste 2272, St. Peters, MO 63376.
You can browse our website without creating an account or giving us your name. When you visit, our website host (Webflow) automatically receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure and fix problems.
We only receive personal information, like your name, email address or phone number, when you choose to give it to us. For example, when you contact us, sign up for our newsletter, fill out a form, register for a program or make a donation.
Most forms and payments on our site are handled by trusted outside services. The information you enter goes to that service and to DASA so we can respond: Airtable (new athlete forms and team sign-ups), SportsEngine (program registration and payment), Wufoo (volunteer, tournament and sponsorship forms), Mailchimp (our newsletter), Givebutter (online donations), OneCause (Move Our Mission tickets, sponsorships and auction) and BSN Sports (DASA apparel store). Each service has its own privacy policy. DASA does not see or store your full credit card number.
Some pages show content from other websites, including our Google Calendar, our Mailchimp newsletter archive and YouTube videos. These services may set their own cookies and collect information about your visit, the same as if you visited their sites directly.
We also link to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, which have their own privacy policies.
Our website does not use advertising or analytics tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
We use the information you give us to register athletes and run our programs, camps and events; respond to your questions; process donations, sponsorships and ticket purchases and send receipts; coordinate volunteers and interns; and send our newsletter and event updates if you sign up.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, with sport partners such as Move United when program participation requires it, or when required by law. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any newsletter.
Many DASA athletes are minors. Registration and forms for athletes under 18 are completed by a parent or guardian. Our website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.
We limit access to athlete and donor information to DASA staff and volunteers who need it to run our programs. Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. No website or online service is completely secure, so please don't email sensitive medical details unless we ask for them.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing dasa@dasasports.org or calling (636) 477-0716. Some records, such as donation receipts and program waivers, may need to be kept for legal or insurance reasons. We may update this policy from time to time. This version is effective October 2026.
